General Overview
The history of Reverso start in 1930 when the Swiss businessman Cesar de Trey, inspired by a polo game he saw, convinced Jaeques-David LeCoultre to develop and produce the first reversible watch ever made. LeCoultre associate the Swiss case produced Jaeger for the project and in 1931 the first Reverso saw was offered to public. For the first two years of production the Reverso was equipped with a Tavannes caliber since LeCoultre still not had a caliber that could fit in that case.

This beautiful example represent the very First Execution of the Reverso with the in house LeCoultre caliber 11’’’U. This watch was produced and sold in the first half of the 1933. The beautiful Black Dial with raised indices report the Reverso white enameled logo along with the Hausmann retailer logo (Haussmann was and is the most important retailer of Roma). The stainless steel case is very well preserved and measure 23x38mm. The watch is wonderfully preserved for its almost 90years.
