Patek Philippe Vintage “Grande” Calatrava Rare ref 2532 Screw Back Mint Cond

Produced from 1952 to 1956 in yellow, pink and white gold, the reference 2532 is a rare watch in today's market. Considered large for its time, collectors nicknamed the reference the "Grande Calatrava", as the watch is encased in a 35mm screw back case and features striking angular lugs. During its 5 years production approximately 300 pieces were made together with its sibling model, the reference 2533, which features a center seconds hand, and this makes this reference quite rare to spot.

This beautiful example of Calatrava ref 2532 comes in a wonderful 35mm size, screw back case, made in 18Kt yellow gold. The uniqueness of this reference lay on its very striking angular lugs and carrure shape. Case is wonderfully preserved with very sharp edges and slightly oxidation on the back. Original indelible dial without patina. Manual wind Pp 12-400 caliber. The watch is very well preserved.
